The Wealth Protector is a five year investment account that is ideal for meeting your medium to long term wealth objectives such as buying a home or paying your children's college tuition.

- Quarterly income - Interest is paid quarterly. You can withdraw 75% of your interest or reinvest it to benefit from compounded interest.
- Low risk - Your funds are invested in securities issued or guaranteed by the Government of Jamaica or other instruments approved by the Minister of Finance
How do I invest in the Wealth Protector?
You need a minimium of J$200,000 to open a Wealth Protector account. You may invest up to J$1 million per calendar year for a maximum of J$5 million over the 5 year period.
What do I need to open a Wealth Protector account?
- Your Tax Registration Number (TRN) card
- A valid picture identification such as a passport, driver's licence or national ID
- Two references
- Completed Application Form
Other Considerations
If you choose to break your investment before the five years, an early encashment fee and 25% withholding tax become applicable.
